Question of the Day…

Ok, so there are a lot of things that I think about while I spend my time on these various forms of transportation. Of course, there are the usual thoughts. “I wonder where that guy/girl works…”, or “I wonder what he/she is listening to on his/her iPod…”. But there are others that border on the ridiculous. Here are a couple that have flown across the vast plain that is my mind at 8 am.
“Are there really as many germs as I THINK there are on this subway pole?”
“If I was to break out into song, say, the “too ray aye” portion of Come On Eileen by Dexy’s Midnight Runners, would anyone notice?”
“How the hell do all these people walking around in flip flops not have dirty feet? I mean, when I do it, my feet resemble a toddler fresh from a barefoot stroll through the hallowed aisles of Wal Mart.”
Don’t worry, I’ve only been riding for about a month; there will be more genius to come, in addition to more questions….

There is a technical name for the feet that kids get. It’s called “Winn Dixie Feet”.
I think they might join you or they might shoot you cause it would be considered “Tom Foolery” to break out and sing that song.
The feet are actually called “jiffy sto’ feet.”
Cause, ya know. People in jiffy stores have some gross-ass feet.
Don’t act like you don’t know.
