I’m gonna start listing quotes in this blog, because I gotta tell ya, I have heard some amazing nuggets of pure joy.  One such morsel is the following.

“All yous can take the next bus that runs direct to Fenway, then we can stop all of this Tom Foolery.”

Can we first address the fact that “yous” is common vernacular up here in the Bay State?  Hmmmm, interesting.  Next, Tom Foolery?  Seriously, Tom Foolery?  If we don’t stop all of this said “foolery,” are we going to be “cruisin’ for a bruisin’?”  Who let Fred Steele, circa 1988, drive this hunk of wicked machinery?  To be perfectly honest, I feel as though I should tell you all, it was Ward Cleaver who was driving our bus, so now that I think about it, the comment makes sense.  However, I am sending myself to bed without dessert as a result of the foolery incident.

One Response to “Don’t make me come back there……”

Tom Foolery is one of the most underrated phrases ever. I love saying it.
